Locality: Convenience and Attractions

Although a rural and secluded location, we are only 4 miles from Ronaldsway Airport and the historic town of Castletown. Douglas, the Island’s capital and point of arrival for visitors travelling to the Isle of Man by sea, is approximately 8 miles, or 20 minutes drive away.

The location is central for many of the Island’s heritage attractions and the exploration of some truly spectacular Manx scenery.

For golfers in particular, the majority of the Island’s golf courses are within a 10 mile radius, offering modest green fees and unrestricted availability to play.

There is fishing at the nearby Cringle Reservoir.

Just 5 minutes to South Barrule with its Celtic hillfort and views of the South of the Island.

Those with an interest in motorcycling are especially welcome and we have an understanding of the particular needs of touring motorcyclists.

Secure overnight garaging for motorcycles is offered and we are a short ride from both the Isle of Man TT course and the Billown Southern 100 race circuit.
